Aims & Visions

We apply psychology to understanding children and young people and the organisations that support them. We use a strength based, solution orientated and positive psychology approach to empower the system supporting a child or young person.
To work systemically
We use consultation first to help those supporting young people to facilitate change.
To use a consultation model
We use a range of assessment methods tailored to suit individual need to deliver high quality, responsive and timely intervention, training, and support.
To be person centered, trauma responsive and resilience focused
Our interventions and training have a strong focus on supporting and promoting a holistic approach to children and young people’s wellbeing.

What we hope to achieve
Our primary aim is to remove barriers to learning and support the individual needs of children and young people, whether through working with entire organisations or providing consultation, observation, assessments, interventions, and training. We take a strength-based, person-centred approach, offering assessments and support across the four areas of the SEN Code of Practice, including cognition and learning, social interaction and communication, and social, emotional, and mental health. Our work extends to young people, their families, and educational settings, ensuring a holistic approach to development and wellbeing. In addition to ad hoc individual assessments, we offer flexible service level agreements, allowing schools and organisations to access our time for observation, consultation, assessment, intervention, or training in a cost-effective and tailored way.
